This is a very interesting WWII German National Socialist Party plated brass wreathed swas (hook cross) insignia measuring 3 1 8" across, which has been attached to a very nice wooden base. This measures 4 1 4" x 3" x 1 3 8"H, and the piece is just over 5" in overall height. It looks like it may originally have been some type of flag pole finial that was adapted into a desk ornament.
